Doucen is a town in the province of Biskra located between north Tolga and south Ouled Djellal.
It is 30 km to the low side of the Sahara Atlas (south side), which opens into the north side of the city of M'doukal (Batna).The name comes from the Berber and mean the side. It is an oasis with a strong agricultural vocation, it is produced mainly dates, but the melon and watermelon.
