Set of three oases (Adjahil, El-Mihane, Azelouaz), located on both sides of the river Edjéréou (Eğerew), about 2000 km south of Algiers (by road) and 1200 km east of Ouargla.
The river comes down from Tassili south towards the erg Admer door successively names Edjéréou (sea, very wide river in Tamahaq) Eferi and In Debirène; it is also often called today, Djanet Oued (river Djanet) .
